Hemorrhoidectomy

Get relief from hemorrhoids without a prescription.

It’s quite common for patients to have a great deal of pain after the procedure. Nobody can make a call on the amount of pain you are having, though. The sitz baths can help, but the real trick is not actually sitting while having a soak- sort of a hardship since the sitter part of you is what hurts. It’s actually more helpful if you are floating in the tub and not actually sitting. You have to spend your time on your stomach, not on your back. You can also try lying on your side with your knees drawn up, which can help take some stress off things. Ice cold Tucks pads also feel pretty good, the colder the better for taking some of the flame out. If your pain is not being even dampened by your medications, try calling the doctor back. If you have somebody around who can do the driving, the doctor may be able to arrange a shot for pain control. It wouldn’t mean being readmitted, but you would obviously need somebody around to drive you home and take care of you until you are awake again. In cases of severe pain, doctors have also been known to use Botox to calm the spasming muscles and reduce the pain. Although you will probably be most familiar with it’s uses to reduce facial wrinkles, it has been used before that in other medical procedures. It may be just the item for you as well. And if you can find it in you to laugh, at least the wrinkles in your netherparts will be gone temporarily! Good luck, hope you find some pain relief that works for you. Just call the doctor and see what he/she suggests. You aren’t a baby, it’s a very painful procedure all the way around.
