Equate medicated acne gel is a creamy type gel in a tiny squeeze bottle, and it unfortunately seems to nothing when acne strikes. One of the bad things about this gel is that it simply would not be squeezed out. I had to turn it upside down and let it ooz to the the top overnight, because there was no other way I could get it out. Also, it seemed to have no effect on pimples at all. After applying, my face would not feel dry at all the next day, and usually after applying this, my acne would look worse! Although the box says “maximum strength” and warns about possible drying of the face, it does neither of these, and it doesn’t do really anything else, either. I highly recommend finding another acne medication and not using this one.
