I use this every night after the bath on my baby’s bottom and in his fat creases. When he was younger and pooped literally all day long, nothing prevented him from having a small diaper rash, but now that he is going just once a day he is fine. I don’t want to use zinc oxide all the time and feel this product is safe. His skin looks great.

We use this for our new baby and love it. For us, one of the great things is that it can be used with cloth diapers.* I have read various things about whether or not it should be used with cloth diapers (and no liner), but we do it and it has not hurt our diapers at all (we use Fuzzi Bunz). But of course it is great no matter what kind of diapers you use.
Our little guy has a milk allergy and it causes his bottom to break out terribly, and this helped so much. I know it seems expensive for such a small amount, but you don’t use much with each change and it works wonders. We use it with every change. Also, note that it ranks a “0″ in the safe cosmetics database, meaning that there are no potentially harmful ingredients or irritants. (Shockingly, many baby products rank high – between 7-10 – meaning that there are known carcinogenic ingredients). I would highly recommend this to any parents. It is also great on your own scrapes, rashes, and breakouts too!
Also, use on newborn bottom to easily wipe sticky meconium away and on all baby bottoms and in skin creases to make wiping easier.
*Correction: We found that you do need to use a liner if you use this with a cloth diaper. Otherwise it accumulates on the diaper and repels liquids.

My son has used this product for the last three years. It’s great for any rash or skin irritation. It smells great. It is preservative free. It soothes the skin on contact. It has multiple uses for kids of all ages. The funniest thing I noticed is that, when your child pees, he/she smells like a “fruit-loop.” I’m not kidding. The important thing to remember is: a little goes a long way. Don’t waste it.
