This was so helpful after our son was born that I now give it as a present to any new moms at their shower. It can burn just a little at first, but helps sooth and heal. I also highly recommend the Earth Mama Bottom Spray.

I did not have hemorrhoids or an episiotomy, but this product works wonders for the itching near stitches. One thing surprised me: it has a menthol (tingling) effect.

With my son, who is 3 weeks old, I tore and got 3 hemorrhoids. (yikes) This stuff is so soothing, I haven’t placed it in the refrigerator like some others have recommended, but as is, it is fantastic. It stopped the irritation from my stitches. Far better for the bum than prep H, dermablast (irritating for me), etc. LOVE LOVE LOVE this product and ADORE the company. Everything they make is magical.

Luckily I didn’t develop much hemorrhoids after having my baby but this was the best for calming soreness/itchiness on the area. Really cooling. Better than the spray, although the spray was also nice. This should be sold for everybody with hemorrhoids, not just post partum women. I suppose people who really suffer from it would love it.
