Need Hemorrhoid Relief

Get relief from hemorrhoids without a prescription.

I have been up all night with HORRIBLE hemorrhoids. I’m 37 weeks pregnant and have been having hemorrhoids for a couple months now but NEVER this bad. I went to the bathroom earlier today and it wasn’t even hard but I have had really big hemorrhoids since. It feels good to sit but i want to lay and go to sleep. I want some relief right now. I tried a bath and Preparation H and I have a prescription hydrocortizone suppository. NOTHING IS WORKING! Help me please!

I had a bad case after the birth of my daughter. Have you tried putting tucks pads there and leaving them for a while. I found them to be soothing and they seemed to help inflammation in combo with prep H. Also, even if your stools are not hard, it can’t hurt to take a stool softener like colace. Good luck.

Sorry, you’re pretty much stuck with them. A side effect of pregnancy.

Hot water baths can sometimes help (not too hot so you don’t stress your system and/or your baby). Preparation H is also helpful.

One supplement which is harmless for pregnant women but VERY effective for haemorrhoids is Horse Chestnut. It has proven effects on the venous system and from personal experience I can tell you it’s also great for this condition.

But that’ll take days/weeks. For now, not much to do except:

    a) take mineral oil or laxatives approved for pregnant women to help soften your, uh, stool

    b) don’t strain on the toilet

    c) a "squatting" position is far superior to sitting on the seat and leads to less stress on the veins

    d) avoid foods high in salt/fat/spices

    e) sleep!

GO to the er-if you bear down to much it could be bad- Try the oldest trick in the book, try to push them back up in there, and used some vaseline. Remember how u feel know goes with most pregnancy-Good luck. If you r upset your little one knows it..
